Smoky kielbasa and pillowy gnocchi simmer in a creamy garlic-Parmesan sauce for a fast, cozy one-pan dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 14 ounces smoked kielbasa, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small yellow onion, diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 pound shelf-stable potato gnocchi
  • 1 1/2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 2 cups baby spinach
  • 3/4 cup finely grated Parmesan
  • Black pepper and chopped parsley, to serve

Instructions

  1. Brown the kielbasa: Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high. Brown kielbasa for 4 to 5 minutes; transfer to a plate.
  2. Build the base: Cook onion for 3 minutes, then add garlic, gnocchi, broth, cream, Dijon, and paprika.
  3. Simmer: Cover and simmer 5 minutes. Uncover and cook 3 to 5 minutes more, stirring, until gnocchi is tender.
  4. Finish the sauce: Return kielbasa. Stir in spinach and Parmesan until wilted, glossy, and creamy.
  5. Rest: Let stand 5 minutes, season with black pepper, and garnish with parsley.

Notes

Kielbasa is salty, so taste before adding salt. Refrigerate leftovers for up to three days. Contains milk and wheat. Images are AI-generated illustrations; recipe not kitchen-tested.
