A warm brie wheel wrapped in golden puff-pastry bandages with cranberry preserves and olive eyes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed cold
  • 1 wheel brie (8 ounces)
  • 1/3 cup cranberry preserves
  • 1 large egg beaten with 1 teaspoon water
  • 2 black olive rings
  • Fresh rosemary, crackers, apple slices, and grapes for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare: Heat oven to 400°F and line a tray with parchment. Cut several narrow strips from pastry, reserving a square large enough to wrap brie.
  2. Wrap: Place brie on pastry, top with preserves, wrap the base pastry around it, and seal seams underneath.
  3. Bandage: Arrange pastry strips across the top at angles, leaving a small opening for eyes. Trim excess.
  4. Chill: Chill 15 minutes, then brush all exposed pastry with egg wash.
  5. Bake: Bake 22 to 27 minutes until deeply golden. Rest 10 minutes, add olive eyes, and serve warm.

Notes

Keep pastry cold and leave the brie rind intact. Refrigerate leftovers promptly. Images are AI-generated illustrations; recipe not kitchen-tested.
